Today in international women's day and this year's theme is #pressforprogress. Each year there is a different goal that is focused on and it is then worked on throughout the whole year. Press for progress is about pushing to remove the gender gap and getting a more balanced representation of women in leadership roles. This morning in form time I will be playing one of the videos that can be found on the International Women's Day website to open up a discussion about the issues raised.
So to celebrate the success of women in the blogging industry I thought I would share some of my favourite blogs with you all.
Emma Drew - Emma's blog was the first one that I ever subscribed to. She blogs about making extra money and about how to earn a passive income. I joined her money making course and she was my inspiration to start my blog.
Your Money Sorted - Eileen's blog is aimed at sorting your money out and budgeting, there are also lots of teacher related post. Before Eileen became a full time blogger she was a teacher and talks through how she made that change.
The Happy Journals - This is a really inspiring blog all about being happier in life, Fran runs a free course aimed at making you a happier person.
Alison Linstrom - Alison blogs about blogging and offers lots of advice in how to get your blog out there and become a fully successful blogger. She also has some great YouTube videos.
Boxession - This is a beauty box blog, I have a Look Fantastic box and I love it. Each month the ladies who run this blog do live unboxing of their most recent boxes on their Facebook group and share them on the blog along with other offers for people who subscribe.
Why not take a look at some of those blogs and post yours with a description below so we can see what you are doing too?
Happy International Women's day.
I am a Maths teacher working in the UK. My blog started in February 2018 and I am using it to share ideas to help you in the classroom and to improve your work life balance. I also have some free course and resource along with my new tutoring agency.
